UKIP Rayleigh and Wickford would welcome all those who either want to become members or who just want to assist us with getting the message across to the people – because if we don’t then who will?
When it comes to the EU, their profligacy with our money and their aspirations to rule the whole of Europe and beyond, there is very little reporting in the British media. The information is there to find and it is often quite shocking but it is rarely reported, especially by the liberal elite of the BBC who are so Europhile that they should probably be considered a political organisation in their own right.
The key aim of the Branch is to campaign for seats in local, national and EU assemblies and to gain such popular support and influence that we will be able to eventually extracate this country from the authoritarian clutches of the European Union. A foreign organisation that is destroying the very fabric of our society and reducing many other countries in Europe to penury, especially those on the Mediterranean. There are very many reasons for leaving the EU and there will be a number of assertions against, primarily trade, which will be inaccurately argued by the CBI, big business and those others with a stake in the ‘gravy train’, but that is for another time.
Less than 3 weeks ago, from the date of this post, it was Rememberance Day, where we honoured those who gave their lives to protect our freedoms in two World Wars and the countless wars subsequently. Do we really want to give those hard won freedoms away and to become a mere region in a European Superstate, with its own government, judicial system, police force and armed forces? A State that cares so little about democracy that it connives to turn its “European Constitution” into the “Treaty of Lisbon” because it had been rejected by both the French and the Dutch? A state who then makes the Irish Republic vote twice on that Treaty because it didn’t like the results of the first vote? This is not just undemocratic it is anti-democratic and is certainly not something I believe we would wish to bequeath to our children and grand children.
So why not join the quiet revolution of the ‘striving classes’ and together we can wrest our country back from the EU and bring common sense back to British politics and Government. The fightback continues on 22nd May 2014 with the EU elections and the local elections and is your chance to send a clear message to the LibLabCon consortium – STOP, WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!
